Antoni Porowski

Netflix Series Lead | Chef | Food & Wine Connoisseur

As the Queer Eye food and wine connoisseur, Antoni Porowski brings with him a lifelong passion for food and a history of catering private events in and around New York. Originally from Canada, Antoni was bitten by the culinary bug at a young age as he discovered the joy cooking brings from the likes of Julia Child, Jacques Pépin, Anthony Bourdain, and – most importantly – his own mother.

A self-taught cook, Antoni went to work in restaurants from Montreal to New York City where he continued to hone his craft and find his place in the culinary world. While in New York, Antoni found an inspired mentor in the original Fab Five food and wine expert Ted Allen. His work with Allen, combined with his university degree in psychology, uniquely influenced his underlying culinary philosophy: food should tell a story and the heart and the stomach are inter-connected.

Since joining Netflix’s Fab Five, Antoni has brought this philosophy at a local-level to The Village Den, the Manhattan eatery where he is part owner, and across the country at speaking engagements among top Universities. His cookbook, Antoni in the Kitchen, was released in September, 2019. Antoni has led campaigns for Hanes, Whole Foods, Boursin Cheese, Vita Coco, Silk Almond Milk, J. Crew, Cointreau, and Excedrin, among others. He has graced the covers of Gay Times, Out Magazine, Attitude Magazine, and Entertainment Weekly, where he and the rest of the Fab Five were listed among 2018’s Entertainers of the Year. A finalist for People’s Choice Reality TV Star of 2018 on his own and winner of Eater’s 2018 #Brand of the Year, Antoni continues to connect with audiences the world over.


Ashley Tyrner

CEO : Farmbox Direct / FarmboxRx

Ashley Tyner is the founder and CEO of Farmbox Direct. She went from food stamps, to CEO of a national brand that aims to eradicate the Food Desert problem America faces.

Ashley has penned a new deal with the first insurance company (Vibra Health) to make a bold move of offering healthful fruit and vegetable boxes to its members. GOPEX is proud to have her share the journey of revolutionizing health care, and making fresh produce part of the preventative care we’ve always known it should be. Check out FarmBoxRX, a healthcare initiative from Farmbox Direct, as Ashley revolutionizes insurance with the Phase 1 Parnership with Vibra Health Plan by providing free food boxes to elderly medicare patients with diet and chronic-related illnesses for the first time ever.

Tyrner was a winner of the 2016 Glamour Magazine Starters Project. She has appeared in several news publications including TIME, Forbes, CNN Money, and Fox News as an advocate for healthy eating as well as a women founded and ran companies.

Marco Azzaretti

Marco Azzaretti is Senior Manager of Marketing Solutions at TOMRA Compac, a global supplier of packhouse technology to the fresh produce industry.He has over 20 years of experience in product management and the development of automation solutions for the food industry. Mr. Azzaretti holds a bachelor’s degree in business management, and earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Dave Corsi

Vice President of Produce and Floral Operations, Wegmans

Corsi joined the Wegmans family 33 years ago, and in 1999, Dave became the vice president of produce and floral operations. Dave is responsible for procurement, merchandising, design, fixturing, pricing and the Wegmans 170-acre organic farming operation. Dave serves as chairman of the board for the Center for Produce Safety. Dave was recently presented the Produce Marketing Association’s Bryan E. Silbermann Collaboration Award, being recognized as an individual for working with one or more people or organizations to realize mutually beneficial solutions to an industry issue.


Dan Davis

Director of Business Development, Starr Ranch Growers

Born and raised in the Yakima Valley in WA, Dan Davis is Director of Business Development at Starr Ranch Growers. Despite never intending to work in ag, his winding career led him first through warehousing and packing as the GM of a large apple and cherry packer before moving to the sales/marketing side of the business after 10 years at the warehouse level.  Once making that move, he coordinated dual hemisphere organic programs before coming to Starr Ranch, where his role has evolved as Director of Business development to include all customer facing relations, as well as working with the family of packers to deliver on the programs the construct.  His two plus decades in the industry has put him in the role where he can channel his passion on behalf of the grower base to deliver their product to retail.


Jamin Dick

Head of Supply Chain-North America, Alibaba B2B

Jamin Dick is the Head of Supply Chain-North America for Alibaba B2B. Mr. Dick has more than 20 years of experience as a leader in the retail industry and enabling global ecommerce for businesses of all sizes. At IBM he led the first ecommerce implementations for many Fortune 100 retailers in the US. He played a key role in automating product design and development for Target’s private label business and oversaw the creation of a new supply chain network for In 2014 he was instrumental in taking Borderfree public on the Nasdaq. Mr. Dick earned his Bachelor’s degree from The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. He is also a thought leader in emerging technologies such as block chain and IOT and their application to real-world business problems.

Nick Falk was named President of Trinity Logistics when the company became a part of the Burris Logistics family in April 2019.  Prior to that he was President of Burris Freight Management and General Manager of the Orlando, Florida Burris Logistics Custom Distribution Center. Ross Farnsworth

Ross D. Farnsworth

Senior Director, Global Food Sourcing Southeast, Walmart Inc.

Ross has +30 years of retail experience focused on merchandising, operations and sourcing.  Currently Ross resides in South Florida and is the Sr. Director of the Southeast Global Food Sourcing team.  They are one of seven hubs across North and South America that owns the short-term surety of supply and develops and implements solutions to make supply a long-term competitive advantage for Walmart.  Prior to Miami, Ross established a Walmart GPS office in Peru in 2014 based in Lima. Before Peru, Ross was the VP of Food (Dry/Fresh) & Consumable products in Thailand leading a merchandising team of 150 people for BigC retail stores in Thailand.  Prior to Thailand, Ross was in China for five years with Tesco and Walmart leading merchandise teams across both food and hard goods.  At Walmart China, Ross served on the sustainability committee leading teams in developing sustainable products for consumers in China. Before his move to China in 2007, Ross led the Walmart Home Office merchandise team in Bentonville, AR supporting the U.S. stores on computers/accessories and photo products.  During this time he was a member of the Home Entertainment collaboration team developing and executing the merchandise strategy.  Overall, Ross has worked for Walmart Inc. for a combined 20 years spending time in Walmart International, Walmart USA and Sam’s Club.  He has also had the opportunity to work with retailers such as Tesco (out of UK) and Casino Group (out of France).  Ross gained a global perspective while living and working in 5 countries outside the USA – Mexico, Argentina, China, Thailand and Peru.  Ross graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Marriott School of Business.  He recently celebrated 32 years of marriage with his wife (Jane) and four children.

Tom Karst, with the Packer since 1984, has been editor-in-chief since July of 2018. Before his promotion to editor, Tom served as national editor covering key issues across the entire produce spectrum, creating the Fresh Talk blog, founding the popular LinkedIn “Fresh Produce Industry Discussion Group” and speaking at many industry events. He is a graduate of Kansas State University.

Todd Linsky has spent the last thirty-five years immersing himself in the produce industry at every level. Todd’s experience started as a produce manager for a small nature foods company, shifted to working nights on the Los Angeles Produce Market, to time spent in Moss Landing working for the first organic grower/shipper operation, and a rise to a vice presidency at one of the largest organic grower/shipper operations in the country. In 2015, Todd formed Todd Linsky Consulting, known as TLC ( With the founding of TLC, he launched Produce Therapy® a dynamic tool that helps companies discover what has a significant impact on their company culture and directs the mood of their business. He uses this tool in concert with his unique viewpoint to increase sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.During his career he has worked on various industry panels and boards. He was the first organic industry representative to be appointed by then Secretary of Agriculture, Ann Veneman, to be on the USDA Fruit and Vegetable Advisory Committee.

David Magaña

Senior Analyst – Horticulture, Rabobank

Headquartered in Fresno, California, David is responsible for covering and analyzing the US and North American fresh fruit and vegetable industries. David has a strong background and experience in agriculture. Prior to joining Rabobank, he served as deputy director of economic research for FIRA – Banco de México, one of the most important agricultural banks in Latin America. While at FIRA, he conducted analysis on the agricultural sector for over a decade. His research agenda and experience include agricultural market integration under the North American Trade Agreement (NAFTA), consumer trends in fresh fruit and vegetable markets, food security, food price dynamics, and other related topics.


Douglas Marshall

Chief Scientific Officer, Eurofins Microbiology Laboratories

Douglas L. Marshall is chief scientific officer with Eurofins Microbiology Laboratories. Formerly he was associate dean and professor of public health in the College of Natural and Health Sciences at the University of Northern Colorado and a contributing editor of the scientific journal Food Microbiology.  His career focus is to improve the microbiological quality and safety of foods, with numerous publications and consultations in the area. He has received the Mississippi Chemical Corporation Award of Excellence for Outstanding Work and the International Association for Food Protection Educator and Harold Barnum Industry Awards. He is a fellow of the Institute of Food Technologists.

Randy Riley

Randy Riley is the Director of Produce Merchandising. He is responsible for providing leadership to Produce Category Management and Promo Planning for the Enterprise. Randy’s diverse retail background and passion for providing Fresh ingredients to our customers make him an excellent choice for this position.Randy joined Kroger in 2002 as a co-manager in the Michigan Division. In 2003, Randy became a store manager. He then moved to the Columbus Division where he held a variety of roles including Produce/Floral coordinator, category manager, assistant merchandiser, sales promoter and merchandiser. Randy was Customer 1st manager in 2015 and was promoted to Director of Produce Merchandising in March 2016.Randy is a dedicated father raising one son and seven daughters. Randy is passionate about his children and is highly engaged in all of their activities. Randy’s son is away at school pursuing a pilot’s license. His daughters keep him very busy with a broad range of activities. His management skills definitely come in handy. Randy is also an avid golfer and uses golf as an approach to interact with his team outside of work.

Jennifer Tucker

Deputy Administrator of the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), National Organic Program

Jennifer Tucker was named deputy administrator of the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) National Organic Program on June 21, 2018. She served as associate deputy administrator of the National Organic Program from 2011 to 2018. Before joining USDA, she served as a group facilitator and organization development consultant, working primarily with scientific and technical government and non-profit organizations. She earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Wesleyan University, a master’s degree in management from Purdue University and a doctorate in science and technology studies from Virginia Tech.


Jose Rossignoli

Rossignoli’s expertise in the produce industry includes retail business development, financial planning, and grower development, with a strong background and passion for international supply chain solutions. In his role of Vice President of Global Sourcing for Robinson Fresh he is responsible for overseeing the execution, investment strategy, and strategic planning of supply development with growers in over a dozen countries including Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, Spain and Italy. Before joining Robinson Fresh in 2012, he served as Vice President of Sales and Sourcing for grower-shipper organizations in Florida and California. He is a graduate of the University of Florida’s College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, where he obtained his Bachelor in Science degree in 2003 and Master of Agribusiness degree with a focus in International Development in 2004.
